Well on Sunday night (July 13th) Mom, Tyler, Allyson and Audrey all took a walk to get some nice Sunday fresh air. On our walk Tyler was ridding his Razor Scooter and Mom pulled to two girls in the red wagon. Tyler was so good on his scooter and on our way home he got going really fast down the hill and crashed. Mom heard his screaming and ran to see what happened.
Tyler kept screaming "I broke my leg!!! I need a doctor!! I need a doctor!!!" so Mom carried him in the house and tried to calm him down. Meanwhile the girls were hopping on one leg and pretending they were hurt too (sympathy pains?)
When Dad got home he tried to calm Tyler down too and get him to show where it hurt. After a few hours of hearing him cry out in pain, we took him to the ER. Yep, it was broken. A spiral break in his leg.
On Tuesday we got a cast put on the leg and Tyler was ecstatic when the cast was blue. He said "I am a BYU fan" when the doctor started wrapping his leg. The Dr. Zobel said he was a Utah fan, so he and Tyler had some fun bantering back an forth about BYU and Utah. Tyler loved the blue cast and couldn't wait to try out his crutches. He has the hang of them and has even figured out a few tricks on them.
