Janielle recently attended her second year at DEA (Dance Educator's of America) Training in Las Vegas and UNLV. It was an incredible experience. Not only was she learning how to become a better teacher and dancer, she was learning from the top instructors in the country.
One of the father's of jazz, Charles Kelly, is the director of the training and listening to him talk about who he has worked with, is amazing!!!
The ballet teacher,Raymond Lucas is the ballet director of ABT in New York and has a whole list of credentials as far as The Boston Ballet and starting ballet schools in other countries.
The classical jazz teacher was David Scala, and he is the choreographer and teacher of the Rockettes!!!
And there are many more great and amazing teachers at the training. The funnest class was the Adagio Partnering class and the jazz class with Steve Sirco and his wife. He has so much energy and his class is amazing. The choreography is so fun and energetic.
What an amazing week!!
