It only took about 15 hours before it was all said and done. Baking the cake in the Bear Shaped pan (which totally overflowed--oops), letting it cool, making the frosting, coloring all the frosting and then decorating the Bear shaped cake to look like a Care Bear with a rainbow tummy.
Allyson wanted a pink Care Bear with a rainbow on her tummy, so I attempted to decorate the cake. I know that if Grandma Cindy was her, her skills would put mine to shame, but I think it turned out alright. Ally woke up to the cake in the morning and I heard her little scream as I layed in bed (didn't get to sleep until 2:00 a.m.), that sound made it all worth it.
